Teaches English Bilingually
## From Zero English to Fluency – Star’s Journey Star moved to Australia from Thailand in 2010 at the age of six. When arriving in Australia, she couldn’t speak a word of English. Through ESL classes and supportive teachers, her English has come a long way and now she’s here to help kids back home in Thailand to learn just as she has done.

My thanks goes out to her teachers and friends that worked with her. It was remarkable just in the first three months watching how rapidly their English developed, especially as she and her younger brother Jesse fought tooth and nail refusing to learn or speak English in Thailand.

I used to try to get them to watch the English soundtrack of their cartoons in Bangkok, but as soon as I walked out of the room, they would switch the Thai back on.

Now it is the other way around. We have a rule where we try to always use Thai at home now in Australia to help maintain it. Thais will notice that Star’s Thai has begun to get some ‘Farang’ sounds too it. We need to work more on this and hopefully doing more of these clips will really help her maintain a high level of both languages.

Please show your support and send suggestions for clips that you would like her to talk on.
